Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare seeks a Clinical Education Coordinator to deliver reliable unit-based clinical learning for imaging residents across modalities. You will direct education activities within Imaging Services and work closely with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education to recruit, train, and coach residents.

You will monitor outcomes and report on program effectiveness, reporting to the Imaging Education leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography required.
• Previous educator or lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• ARRT certification with advance certification in educational instruction (CT/MR/M) required upon hire or ARDMS/NMTCB corresponding credentials mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unit-based clinical learning and training for imaging residents.
• Direct, coordinate, and oversee education-related work within Imaging Services.
• Recruit, train, and coach imaging residents in partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education.

Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.
