Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare seeks a Clinical Education Coordinator to ensure effective delivery of unit-based clinical learning for imaging residents. You will lead education activities within Imaging Services and collaborate with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education to recruit, train, and coach residents.

The role requires ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB and BCLS certifications, 3+ years of imaging technologist experience, and a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography required
• ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB and BCLS certifications required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Lead unit-based clinical learning and training of imaging residents in their modality
• Direct, coordinate, and oversee the education-related work within Imaging Services
• Recruit, train, and coach imaging residents in partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education
• Monitor and routinely report on unit-based activities and effectiveness
• Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging

Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Must be ARRT certified with advance certification in area of educational instruction, i.e. (CT) (MR) (M) (VI) Upon Hire Required or
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required or
• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
