Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator to lead unit-based education and training for imaging residents across CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other modalities. The role partners with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education to recruit, train, and coach residents, while monitoring program effectiveness and reporting on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography is required.
• Previous educator and supervisory experience is preferred.
• ARRT, ARDMS, NMTCB and BCLS certifications are required upon hire.

Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.
