Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator to oversee unit-based clinical learning and training of imaging residents across CT, MRI, ultrasound, interventional radiology, and mammography.

You will recruit, train, and coach residents in partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, monitor activities, and report on program effectiveness, with direct reporting to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography.
• Previous educator experience Preferred.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unit-based clinical learning and training for imaging residents.
• Direct, coordinate, and oversee education-related work within Imaging Services.
• Recruit, train, and coach imaging residents in partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education.
• Monitor and report on unit-based activities and effectiveness.

Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
