Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Scribe for a full-time role in a primary care setting in Cincinnati. You will document patient encounters, assign CPT/ICD-10 codes, and support clinicians with notes and after-visit summaries, enabling providers to focus on patient care.

The ideal candidate has medical terminology knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to learn new workflows; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Advanced listening and communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new workflows.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, or Russian, or other languages spoken by the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in structured notes including history, assessment, plan, and exam.
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Prepare After Visit Summaries and review with the provider.
• Support daily huddles, clinical documentation reviews, and population health tools.
• Place orders and referrals; assist with tasks for the care team.
