Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a CDI Supervisor to oversee Clinical Documentation Integrity staff, ensuring quality and competency through ongoing QA, feedback, and development. The role leads hiring, training, and performance management for CDI associates, coaches, and mentors and collaborates with leadership on KPI improvement and program growth.

The position is remote, with 15–25% travel to client sites or corporate offices.

Qualifications

• Current RN Licensure.
• Minimum of two years CDI experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Acute care experience or similar clinical setting.
• Flexibility in assignments and workloads; travel 15–25%.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the competency of CDI staff by participating in quality assurance reviews and skills assessments; provides feedback and develops action plans.
• Leads hiring, training and performance management for CDI associates, coaches and mentors.
• Develops policies, procedures, and materials for the CDI program.
• Develops educational programs to update CDSs and clinicians on regulatory changes and denials.
• Partners with coding professionals for improved outcomes and initiatives.
• Collaborates with leadership on KPIs and program growth; supports vendor partnerships and software functionality.
• Prepares reports for client and internal leadership; onsite expectations and travel as required.
