Qualifications

• Current license/certification as required by regulatory bodies.
• Minimum of one year experience in assisted living or health care.
• Prior supervisory experience in health care strongly preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Wellness department to provide a safe, homelike environment for residents.
• Manages Wellness department staff including interviews, hires, orientations, coaching and evaluations.
• Supports professional growth of staff and promotes teamwork and open communication.
• Ensures infection control guidelines are met and compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Reports incidents per community policy and state laws and protects resident and staff safety.
