Elior North America is seeking a registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J. Kane Regional Center in Pittsburgh.

You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve residents' quality of life in line with their goals. Key responsibilities include educating patients, adhering to practice standards, collaborating across departments, and contributing to ongoing quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Pass national exam (CDR) or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Complete 75 hours of continuing education every five years, via portfolio development.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
