Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at John J. Kane Regional Center in Pittsburgh.

The role focuses on identifying nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and improving residents' quality of life in alignment with their goals. You will collaborate with the health care team to educate patients, staff, and consultants, adhere to standards of practice and regulatory requirements, and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pass the CDR national examination or meet eligibility with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Complete 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures for dining services and nutrition.
• Contribute to development, review, and revision of quality improvement programs.
