Job summary

Elior Living is seeking a registered dietitian to join the Cura-Hospitality healthcare team at Berks Heim Nursing Home in Leesport, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance residents’ quality of life aligned with goals.

You will work with the care team to educate patients, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the dining and nutrition program.

Qualifications

• Passed the national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate staff.
• Follow standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs.
