Job summary

Elior Living is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at Berks Heim Nursing & Rehab in Leesport, PA. The role focuses on assessing patients’ nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and improving quality of life in alignment with patient goals.

You will provide nutrition expertise to the care team, educate residents and staff, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations while collaborating across departments to enhance dining services and nutrition

Qualifications

Registered dietitian or eligible per CDR requirements.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
Licensed or certified as required by state law.
Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents and staff.
Adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for nutrition.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs.
