Overview

Clinical Dietitian II

As a Clinical Dietitian II, you will assess the nutritional status of patients using recognized assessment tools and counsel patients, families, and caregivers on appropriate nutrition plans to improve disease or condition management. You will support, model, and train Clinical Dietitian I's in the core behaviors and responsibilities of the department and organization.

St. Joseph Health – Bryan/College Station Navasota Caldwell Madisonville TX. Since 1936, St. Joseph Health has been caring for communities in and around the Brazos Valley. Responsibilities

• Conduct patient screening according to specialized clinical guidelines for those at nutritional risk.
• Implement targeted nutrition interventions based on medical conditions and provide education to patients and families.
• Develop intervention plans, including feeding routes, modes, and nutrition prescriptions, aligned with physicians' orders.
• Collaborate with Food and Nutrition Services to enhance patient experience.
• Provide expert-level care and nutrition therapy for high-acuity patients, including neonatal, pediatric, oncology, renal, diabetic, and geriatric units, with order writing privileges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited dietetics program (ACEND).
• Registered Dietitian in Texas.

Pay Range

$23.98 - $34.78 per hour
