Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in the Kane Dietitians program in the Pittsburgh area. You will assess patients' nutritional needs, initiate interventions to maintain nutritional status, and support quality of life aligned with individual goals.

The role requires passing the CDR national exam or eligibility, ongoing CE requirements, and state licensure.

Qualifications

Must pass a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, in accordance with the CDR.
Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
Actively participating in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
