Job summary

Cura Hospitality's Kane Dietitians in Pittsburgh seeks an experienced registered dietitian to assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, implement interventions, and improve quality of life in line with goals.

You will educate the care team, follow practice standards, collaborate across departments, and contribute to QA programs; requires current CDR exam, continuing education, and state licensing.

Qualifications

• Must have passed the national CDR exam or be eligible per Academy standards.
• Complete 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to set up nutrition-related procedures and policies.
• Support CQI initiatives and participate in program development and review.
