Job summary

Cura Hospitality in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at Kane Dietitians. You will identify and assess the nutritional needs of patients/residents and implement interventions to maintain or improve their nutrition and quality of life.

This role requires passing the CDR exam or eligibility, completing 75 hours of continuing education every five years, and holding state licensure.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for licensure/certification as a dietitian.
• Continuing education: 75 hours every five years.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining services and nutrition.
• Participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
