Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to maintain nutritional status, and improve quality of life aligned with patient goals.

Collaborate with clinicians, educate staff and patients, and adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards while contributing to continuous quality improvement programs at Kane Dietitians.

Qualifications

• Passed CDR examination or eligibility per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and revising continuous quality improvement programs.
