Cura-Hospitality is seeking a Registered Dietitian for our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh. You will identify and assess patients’ nutritional needs, initiate interventions to improve or maintain nutrition, and support quality of life aligned with each resident’s goals.

You will educate patients and staff, adhere to practice standards and regulatory requirements, collaborate across departments, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts.

Qualifikationen

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to educate others on nutrition and dietetics.

Aufgaben

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients, residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs.
