Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) in an acute care setting and contribute to a multidisciplinary team. You will apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess and manage nutrition needs for complex patient populations, and provide counseling to support behavior change and outcomes.

Ideal candidates include RDs with strong clinical skills, mentorship aptitude, and interest in growth within the Clinical Dietitian Specialist

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN).
• Master's degree required for registration-eligible graduates after Jan 1, 2024; verification of education.
• ACEND‑accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics, Dietetic Internship, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in acute care and specialized populations.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and manage nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and outcomes.
• Mentor interns and new graduate dietitians and collaborate with healthcare teams.
