Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research is seeking a Manager, Clinical Business Operations to ensure accurate clinical activity data across CTMS (OnCore) and Filemaker, coordinating with nursing and pharmacy leadership for Aria/eDAR entries. You will align billing terms with clinical documentation, support revenue cycle processes, and act as the data integrity liaison for site operations.

Based at our West Valley City, UT location, this role interfaces with finance and study operations leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical research operations, healthcare revenue cycle, or a mix of both
Working knowledge of CTMS (OnCore or equivalent) and familiarity with EDC platforms and financial systems (NetSuite or ERP)
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies across multiple information systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate clinical activity data for non-clinical finance audiences
High accuracy and attention to detail; comfortable with data reconciliation
Understanding of regulated data environments and change-control workflows

Responsibilities

Ensure clinical activity data in CTMS and Filemaker is accurately recorded in a timely manner
Bridge clinical documentation and billing system entry across Aria, eDAR, CTMS
Monitor adherence to data governance and internal controls
Identify and investigate data discrepancies and document corrections per SOPs
Track data quality metrics and report trends to leadership
Participate in pre-study revenue cycle activities for new studies and amendments
