Job summary

Center for Family Services in New Jersey is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for STAR/Reconnections to lead program operations and ensure high-quality care. The role requires a Master's degree with a clinical license and several years of management experience, plus experience with substance use services.

• 3–4 years of management experience; 5–6 years preferred.
• Experience working with substance use disorder populations or related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with the DMHAS STAR Grant Manager.
• Oversee Rutgers SUPRT and Red Cap tools.
• Demonstrate progress toward program goals.
• Supervise program staff with monthly STAR/Reconnections meetings and regular check-ins.
• Coordinate and monitor program services.
• Collaborate with systems partners to ensure coordinated care.
• Lead staff to deliver culturally competent services and sustain program impact.
• Ensure Case Manager and Recovery Specialist fidelity to the model.
• Ensure QI compliance within the EHR system.
• Maintain a minimum caseload of 40 individuals with 24/7 availability.
• Assist with development of non-clinical case management and recovery plans.
• Coordinate training of peer recovery staff with a third-party vendor.
• Coordinate duties scheduling of volunteers and interns.
• Coordinate meetings, events, and fundraising activities.

Salary: $70,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate regularly with the DMHAS STAR Grant Manager
• Oversee Rutgers SUPRT and Red Cap tools
• Demonstrate progress toward program goals
• Supervision of program staff (monthly meetings with STAR and Reconnections staff and biweekly phone or face to face for minimally 15 minutes)
• Coordination and monitoring of program services
• Collaboration with systems partners to ensure coordination of care
• Lead staff in delivering services in a culturally competent and linguistic manner; and improving the scope and capacity of the delivery system in order to ensure program sustainability.
• Ensure Case Manager and Recovery Specialist maintain fidelity to model
• Ensure QI compliance within the EHR System
• Ensure program is available 24/7 with a minimum caseload of 40 individuals at all times
• Assist with the development of comprehensive non-clinical Case Management plans and recovery plans
• Coordination of training of the peer recovery support specialists with a third party vendor
• Coordination of duties and scheduling of volunteers and interns, including on call schedules
• Coordination of meetings, events, and fundraising events

Requirements

• Master's Degree and Any Master's Level Clinical License (LPC, LCADC, LCSW) Related to the field
• 3-4 Years Management Experience; 5-6 years preferred
• Demonstrates evidence of working with the substance use disorder population and /or evidence of addiction coursework.
