Job summary

Center for Family Services in Phillipsburg, NJ, is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals for full-time roles offering a sign-on bonus of 1500–3000 USD depending on licensure. The position includes clinical hours, supervision, and a Monday–Friday schedule with 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities include multidimensional assessments, family-involved treatment planning, and delivering individual, group, and family therapy to diverse client groups, coordinating care with partner programs

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited university.
• License to practice in New Jersey (LAC/LPC, LSW/LCSW) in good standing.
• Two years supervised experience working with mentally ill clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive holistic assessments for diverse client groups and involve family as needed.
• Create individual and family treatment plans with goal-directed outcomes.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy across ages and diagnoses.
• Coordinate treatment with other agency programs and external services.
• Prepare evaluations and progress notes per agency policies.
• Submit reports to DCP&P, courts, prosecutors, probation and IDRC timely.
• Attend supervision, meetings, and engage with community resources as required.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and ongoing professional development.

Job Type/Status: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 35 hours each week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive holistic assessments of children, adolescents, adults, older adults, clients with a secondary diagnosis of MR/DD and sexual abuse survivors; involve family members as indicated.
• Develop individual and family focused treatment plans which are goal directed; involve family members as indicated.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, clients with secondary diagnosis of MR/DD and sexual assault survivors.
• Coordinate treatment with other Center for Family Services programs and services.
• Coordinate treatment planning with DCP&P, schools, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, Parole, IDRC, Office on Aging and other relevant agencies and services.
• Complete evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies.
• Complete reports to be submitted to DCP&P, the Court, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, Parole and IDRC on a timely basis.
• Meet with supervisor on a regular basis.
• Be familiar with community resources and refer clients as indicated.
• Participates in regularly scheduled department meetings and attends scheduled administrative/clinical meetings
• Takes responsibility for professional development and meeting licensure requirements for maintaining credentials through attendance at relevant workshops and seminars
• Participates in Center and Program performance improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field, from an accredited University
• License for practice in New Jersey (LAC/LPC, LSW/LCSW), in good standing
• 2 years supervised experience in working with mentally ill clients
