Job summary

Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Clinical Coordinator (RN) for Women’s Care on a full-time days schedule. You will support gynecological and prenatal services, coordinate care plans, and provide compassionate nursing care to patients.

Required: NC RN license, ADN (BSN preferred), BLS; ACLS/PALS within six months; one year of experience preferred. Join a dedicated team making a real difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Active NC RN license required; compact state licenses considered.
• ADN is required, BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

Join our Women's Care Team consisting of 3 doctors, a nurse midwife and a nurse practitioner. We provide individualized care for gynecological care and prenatal care through delivery. We have a dedicated staff that is committed to both our patients and our work family.

How You'll Contribute

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs

What we're looking for

• Licenses: Active North Carolina or compact state RN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• Associate's degree required, BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
