The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for acquiring, contracting, and monitoring all clinical sites for courses and student experiences. They coordinate clinical schedules, forecast needs, and support students and faculty in clinical placements.

This is a non-faculty role that ensures faculty meet facility requirements and submit necessary paperwork. The role also involves coordinating orientation programs for clinical faculty to meet program outcomes.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing or higher
• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• Clinical Coordinator experience
• Must meet all programmatic accreditation requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Internet applications, and clinical technologies

Compensation and Benefits

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain staffing and compliance knowledge related to clinical practice
• Manage site selection criteria and contracts
• Visit clinical sites regularly to facilitate communication
• Coordinate with program administrators on schedules and student placements
• Advise on program areas of interest and compliance
• Ensure timely completion of reports and documentation
• Build community relationships and participate in partner relations
• Provide orientation and training to faculty and students about clinical sites
• Serve as first contact for personnel issues at clinical sites
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities
