Job summary

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and collaboration with medical directors and care teams to promote effective outcomes. A master's degree and an active behavioral health license are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of direct clinical practice post-master's degree.
• Crisis intervention skills preferred.
• Managed care/utilization review experience preferred.
• Case management and discharge planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of referred members and determine approach to meeting needs.
• Apply clinical judgment to reduce risk factors and address complex indicators.
• Perform crisis intervention and refer to appropriate clinical providers.
• Provide crisis follow-up to ensure appropriate treatment/services.
• Interpret guidelines and ensure appropriate administration of benefits.
