Job summary

NewPath in Cincinnati seeks a dedicated professional to identify youth needs, coordinate evaluations, and deliver individual, family and group treatment. You will collaborate with parents and agencies to support clients in overcoming barriers to therapeutic goals and develop social/interpersonal skills.

The role requires a high school diploma with 5 years of experience with SED children; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 5 years of experience working with SED children
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 6 months experience working with SED children preferred
• Willingness to provide community-based services to a diverse population of clients
• Working knowledge of behavioral interventions
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
• Be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Have a valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance with no DUI/OVI violations and no more than 5 points on your MVR
• A clean criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Identify the needs of each youth and coordinate evaluations and assessments
• Conduct individual, family and group treatment interventions
• Assist clients in communicating needs and accommodations in life areas
• Help clients overcome obstacles hindering therapeutic goals
• Coach clients with social and interpersonal skills
• Monitor client's symptoms, functioning, strengths, problems, and needs
• Explain mental health diagnoses and coping strategies to clients
• Coordinate with parents, families and agencies to connect resources
• Ensure ECR/EHR elements are current and compliant
