You will take vital signs, document findings, and ensure accurate medical records, while communicating clearly with patients and care teams. Responsibilities include IV therapy assistance, specimen collection, and adherence to policies, procedures, and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Vital signs are taken at each visit and recorded in the medical record.
• Communicates effectively with patients and health care team.
• All controls, specimen collection, proficiency testing conducted per policy.
• Assists with routine office procedures and IV therapy as needed.

Responsabilités

• Vital signs are taken on each patient, on each visit and input into eClinical Works. Verifies and updates patients clinical record on each visit.
• Identifies patient education needs and may assist in patient teaching as to appropriate health maintenance and management of illness. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team.
• All controls will be run according to policy and procedure. All specimen collection will be done according to policy and procedure. All proficiency testing and quality control assurance will be done according to policy and procedure.
• Follow policies and procedures for routine office procedures, test, administration of medications and assisting providers up to and including IV therapy. Recognizes and anticipates urgent and emergent patient situations and responds appropriately.
