You will take vitals, document encounters in the electronic health record, assist with patient education, specimen collection, IV therapy, and ensure safety by following policies and procedures. Strong communication with patients and team is essential.

Competenze

• 1 year of experience in a physician's practice or ambulatory care setting.
• Certificate in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Licensure not required.

• Vital signs taken on each patient and entered into the electronic health record; verify and update the clinical record at every visit.
• Identify patient education needs and assist in teaching; communicate effectively with patients, families and the health care team.
