Responsibilities

• Assist in triage, check-in, and discharge processes.
• Perform CLIA-waived point-of-care testing under provider supervision.
• Administer medications per direct order and supervision of the provider.
• Assist with wound care, splinting, and other treatments ordered by the provider.
• Support nurse and provider during shifts; maintain exam rooms and turnover after patient discharge.
• Document all clinical patient care data accurately and completely.
• Participate in department quality improvement activities and staff education.
