Highmark Health's Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under supervision, coordinating examinations, treatments, and health care planning within established workflows.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, documenting history and medications, assisting with screenings and labs, and ensuring supplies and EHR documentation meet AHN protocols. Some travel between AHN locations may occur.

Formación

• Minimum High School / GED or completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Certification required: NHA, AAMA, AMT, NCCT or AMCA.
• Preferred Associate's Degree.
• CPR certification and background clearances as required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in coordinating patient care under supervision of a healthcare provider.
• Prepare and room patients within the clinical setting.
• Accurately obtain vital signs and document patient history and medications.
• Review and update medication lists in the EHR.
• Assist with depression screening tools and annual wellness visits.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies and inventory are stocked.
• May float between AHN physician locations as needed.
