Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Certification within 120 days of hire with one of the listed certs.
• Preferred: Associate's degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating patient examination, treatment and care planning under supervision.
• Prepare and room patients; record vital signs and relevant histories in the EHR.
• Support office operations and follow AHN policies and workflows.
• Assist with procedures and back-office testing per protocol.
• May serve as a scribe with additional training; ensure timely follow-up with patients.
