Job summary

HUB International in Tampa, FL is seeking a Clinical Consultant to apply clinical expertise to employee benefits consulting and client strategy. You will review claims data, identify utilization patterns and cost drivers, and translate findings into actionable insights for account teams and clients.

Ideal candidates hold a health-related bachelor's degree with RN licensure or equivalent clinical experience, plus 2–5 years of patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field is required; RN license preferred (BSN).
• 2–5 years of direct patient care or clinical practice experience required.
• Active licensure (RN/LPN/LVN) considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret medical and pharmacy claims data to identify utilization patterns, cost drivers, and gaps in care.
• Explain conditions and risk education grounded in standards of care and medical necessity.
• Share clinical interpretation with the account team and other specialty partners to support population health and plan strategy discussions.
• Prepare clinical deliverables for routing to accounts or client calls as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging treatment trends relevant to plan cost and utilization through ongoing research and development.
