Job summary

Easterseals Blake Foundation, celebrating decades of service in Arizona, seeks a Therapist II/III to deliver evidence-based therapy to children and adults. You will assess needs, develop goals, and coordinate with treatment teams in a compassionate, compliant setting.

Require a Master's in Behavioral Health field and AZ licensure eligibility, with 2+ years of related experience; Spanish bilingual skills preferred. Strong documentation, crisis intervention, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related behavioral health field eligible for licensure by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health.
• Two years related experience (BHT) or Associate license in social work, counseling, marriage and family, or substance abuse.
• Therapist II has permanent associate licensure; Therapist III has independent licensure with AZBBHE.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the member’s behavioral health needs to develop therapy goals every 180 days at a minimum.
• Administers screener and standardized testing based on clinical need.
• Schedules therapy sessions with members and obtains required consents for treatment and licensure.
• Maintains clinical records in a timely manner according to standards.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention including arranging for emergency psychiatric evaluation/hospitalization as indicated.
• Performs progress notes and comprehensive reports for funding sources and system partners.
• Mentors/offers shadowing to newer therapists and participates in professional development.
