Job summary

AABR is seeking a Behavioral Intervention Specialist in south ozone park, NY. This role involves providing direct clinical services to adults with developmental disabilities, including conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a related field and relevant licenses or certifications, along with a minimum of two years of experience in clinical services. The position offers a full-time schedule with a salary range of $70,000 - $75,000.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in psychology, social work or related field.
• NYS LCSW, Psychologist license, BCBA or LBA certification required.
• Minimum two years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Behavior Support Plans.
• Provide individual and group supportive counseling services.
• Collaborate with residential BIS clinicians for continuity of care.
