AABR in College Point, NY is seeking a Day Program Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) to provide direct clinical services to adults with developmental disabilities and co‑occurring psychiatric conditions. The BIS develops and monitors BSPs, conducts FBAs, and trains staff to ensure regulatory compliance.
The role requires a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied behavior analysis, plus one of NYS LCSW/ Psychologist, BCBA, or NYS LBA credentials.

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00
The Day Program Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) provides direct clinical services to adults with developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring psychiatric conditions. This role is dedicated to the behavioral and social well-being of individuals in AABR’s day programs. The BIS develops and monitors individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), conducts Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and provides ongoing staff training to ensure optimal outcomes and regulatory compliance.
