Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from CAATE program.
• Current BOC certification.
• Licensed or eligible for state licensure within 30 days of hire.
• BLS CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services in orthopedic clinics following ethics and standards.
• Travel to local clinic locations as needed.
• Room patients and obtain medical history.
• Perform injury evaluations and functional assessments.
• Order imaging as directed by providers.
• Prepare injections as directed by provider.
• Support physicians with procedures and wound care.
• Fit braces and durable medical equipment; remove casts.
• Concussion testing and education; maintain training.
• Deliver home exercise program instructions.
• Handle administrative duties and scheduling; process forms.
• Document in EPIC with accuracy; protect patient confidentiality.
• Assist with patient education and data collection for research.
• Keep exam rooms stocked; comply with dress code and policies.
• Engage in professional growth and unit-specific training.
