Job summary

Atrium Health in North Carolina is hiring an Athletic Trainer to support collegiate and scholastic sports medicine programs. You will work with the Sports Medicine Team to provide on-site coverage, acute care, injury evaluation, rehabilitation, and return-to-play decisions, ensuring high-quality care for student-athletes and athletes at partner institutions.

Qualifications include a CAATE-accredited bachelor's degree, BOC certification, licensure or eligibility, and BLS.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in athletic training from a CAATE program.
Current athletic training certification by the Board of Certification (BOC).
Licensed or eligible for state licensure within 30 days of hire.
Ability to complete American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS) CPR/AED within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide athletic training services to collegiate and/or professional sport events.
Work within the Sports Medicine Team and assist with event coverage.
Provide acute medical care to athletes on the field during practices or events.
Maintain daily treatment logs and medical inventory management.
Develop and implement treatment plans including rehabilitation and return-to-play decisions.
Assist with planning and education programs as needed.
