Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from a CAATE-accredited program.
• Current Board of Certification (BOC) athletic trainer certification.
• Licensed or eligible for state licensure within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain American Heart Association BLS CPR/AED within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to high schools and community events as needed.
• Work with the Sports Medicine Team and assist with event coverage.
• Deliver acute on-site medical care for injuries during practices and events.
• Provide clinical athletic training services in local clinics as necessary.
• Lead on-site evaluation, care decisions, and documentation of injuries.
• Develop and implement rehab and return-to-play plans with goals.
• Maintain medical supplies, records, and equipment for coverage.
• Coordinate referrals with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
