Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred.
• BLS – Basic Life Support certification required.
• Must have/be one of the following: Certified Nursing Assistant; Nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation; three months of clinical care experience; Winchester Hospital CATP.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Repositioning and ambulating patients.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Transport patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens.
• Retrieve and sign out blood products.
• Accurately perform point of care testing.
• Obtain vital signs and weights.
• Maintain intake and output measurements.
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks.
