Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is hiring a Clinical Associate to support patient care on the 223-bed campus, delivering basic procedures under nurse supervision, and contributing to patient safety and comfort. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, specimen transport, and collaboration with the care team; evening shifts, weekends and holiday rotations.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• BLS – Basic Life Support required.
• Must be one of: Certified Nursing Assistant; Nursing Student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation; three months of clinical care experience; or completion of Winchester Hospital CATP.
• English reading, writing and verbal communication essential.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Repositioning and ambulating patients.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Transport patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens.
• Retrieve and sign out blood products.
• Perform point-of-care testing.
• Obtain vital signs and weights.
• Monitor intake and output.
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks.
