Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Winchester Hospital is hiring a Clinical Associate for a 24-hour weekly night shift. You will assist with activities of daily living, reposition patients, and help with beds, transports, and specimen handling.

The role includes vital signs, limited testing, Foley management, and daily intake/output tracking, under nurse supervision. Required: high school diploma, BLS, and one of CNA, nursing student with rotation, CATP, or 3 months of clinical care experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must meet one of the following: CNA, nursing student with rotation, 3 months clinical care experience, or CATP completion.
• English literacy and ability to communicate with patients and staff.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Reposition and ambulate patients.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Transport patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens.
• Retrieve and sign out blood products.
• Perform point-of-care testing and obtain vitals and weights.
• Maintain intake and output measurements; manage Foley catheters.
