Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) seeks a Clinical Associate for Winchester Hospital to support patient care on day shifts. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, repositioning patients, bed making, and transporting items within the unit.

You will perform point-of-care testing, collect specimens and monitor vitals under RN supervision. Qualification requires a high school diploma, BLS, and eligibility as a CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation; at least 3 months of clinical care

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
CNA or nursing student with completion of a medical-surgical rotation is required.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients and staff.
Three months of clinical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living.
Reposition and ambulate patients.
Make occupied and unoccupied beds; assist in transporting patients and equipment.
Collect, label and transport specimens; retrieve blood products.
Perform point-of-care testing and obtain vital signs and weights.
Maintain intake/output measurements; manage Foley catheters/saline locks.
