Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN, seeks a credentialed Medical Assistant or LPN to support podiatry in an ambulatory care setting. This 0.6 FTE role involves assisting physicians and RNs, with day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and 48 hours every two weeks.

The position may float to the Duluth Clinic as needed. Candidates must maintain BCLS and relevant licensure or certification, with certification required within one year for Medical Assistants.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant: Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR completion of a Medical Assistant program; certification required within one year of hire (must pass within two attempts).
• LPN: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the relevant state.
• Medical Assistant/LPN: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.
