Get to Know Your Team:

• Oklahoma Heart Institute offers 24/7 catheterization labs, cardiac rehabilitation, and a heart failure center. In addition, OHI is involved in over 200 cutting-edge research studies across various specialties within the system.

Responsibilities

• The clinical assistant is responsible for transporting, rooming, and preparing patients for physician, advanced practice providers, and nurse clinic visits.
• Provides support to the RN with clinic preparation and chart abstraction as delegated.
• Willing and able to travel and function independently in other clinics.
• Responsible for additional clinical duties such as supply inventory and cardiac monitor appointment scheduling.
• Will not administer immunizations or injectable drugs.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Medical Assistant role or a graduate of a Medical Assistant Program.
• For OHI, graduate of a Certified Nurse Assistant Program with a competency checklist.
