Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to new programs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes patients and visitors with a warm, upbeat attitude and directs inquiries; checks in patients.
• Delivers high-level customer service by improving patient satisfaction and optimizing provider time.
• Manages scheduling with focus on growth and maximizing provider availability and room usage.
• Maintains on-time patient flow by notifying clinicians of arrivals and delays.
• Receives and processes incoming faxes and documents timely.
• Performs accurate data entry into the EMR system and updates patient information.
• Generates reports, logs, and lists with accuracy.
• Ensures co-pays are tallied and credit extended to patients.
• Sets up new and returning patient cases in TheraOffice with demographic and insurance data.
