Qualifications

• Required: two years’ customer service in a multitasking environment (call center/office/appointments).
• GED or high school diploma required; associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate provider schedules for procedures and tests.
• Gather patient demographic data and verify insurance for appointments.
• Coordinate, register and schedule procedures, precertify insurance, and ensure tests are completed.
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in clinic, handling inquiries.
• Maintain scheduling accuracy and communicate effectively to all parties.
