Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Specialty Care is hiring a Clinic Registered Nurse for our outpatient clinic. You will deliver safe, evidence-based patient care and coordinate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires an Iowa RN license, BLS certification, and strong computer/communication skills. Schedule is full-time, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends or holidays. MercyOne offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact state license acceptable where applicable.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows environment; MS Office).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings delivering safe, evidence-based care.
• Coordinate care with clinicians and support communication across teams.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation: assessments, vitals, meds, and education.
• Administer medications/treatments via multiple routes and document accordingly.
• Assist providers with scheduling, admissions, referrals, and outpatient procedures.
