Job summary

MercyOne Greene Family Medicine in Iowa is seeking a Clinic RN to deliver high‑quality patient care in an outpatient setting. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective care.

You will educate patients and families and document all activities in the EMR, maintaining compliance and quality standards. The role is full-time with a day shift, no weekends, and a strong emphasis on teamwork, patient education, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa and BLS certification.
• Proficient in nursing processes and patient assessments.
• Experience documenting care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Ability to educate patients and coordinate with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient settings following nursing processes.
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, patients, families and teams.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, discharge and health maintenance.
• Document assessments, plans, treatments and education in the EMR.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and participate in quality improvement.
• Assist with scheduling, admissions, referrals and procedures as needed.
