Job summary

MercyOne Greene Family Medicine seeks an experienced Clinic Registered Nurse to provide outpatient patient care, coordinate care with staff, and support education for patients and families. You will document in the EMR, assist with appointments and procedures, and ensure safe administration of medications and treatments.

The position supports a day shift, full-time schedule with no weekends or holidays, and requires Iowa RN licensure and BLS within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license; compact state license may be required depending on location.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, web, email, MS Office).
• Ability to read/write English and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with other clinical staff and education for patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments safely via multiple routes and document accordingly.
• Assist providers with patient care, scheduling, admissions, referrals, and procedures.
• Maintain EMR documentation accuracy and completeness.
