Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City, IA, is seeking a Clinic RN to join our Specialty Care team. This full-time, day-shift role features 40 hours per week, 8:00a-5:00p, with no weekends or holidays, and focuses on delivering patient-centered care across chronic conditions and complex diseases.

You’ll assess and document patient status, administer medications, collaborate with physicians and staff, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient computer skills (Windows, MS Office).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient status using nursing processes.
• Administer medications and treatments via multiple routes.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff on care plans and referrals.
• Provide education to patients, families, and clinical staff.
• Maintain EMR documentation accuracy and completeness.
