Job summary

MercyOne New Hampton Family Medicine is hiring a Clinic Registered Nurse part-time to provide outpatient care. The RN must be licensed in Iowa and hold BLS certification, with strong EMR documentation and patient education skills.

You will collaborate with providers, coordinate care, and support our mission-driven care model. Responsibilities include taking assessments, administering treatments, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to quality improvement efforts in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact state license acceptable where applicable.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient with EMR documentation and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care using nursing processes (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, patients, and families; educate patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments safely; document in EMR; assist with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare for rounds and admissions, and participate in quality initiatives.
